YES! It is the Grandest of Canyons! The Mac-Daddy of Canyons, The Canyon Motherload! Just plain BIG. I have flown over it over 150 times and never really was all that impressed. It wasn't on my "10 things to do before I die "list but in retrospect, it should have been. And if you've not seen it...it should be on yours. Kudos to Bill for insisting that we make this stop. Good job Mother Nature!
Rufus spent the day in the Grand Canyon Kennel. He had pretty nice digs...indoor/outdoor humungous dog runs with A/C, two play times in the fenced play yard. All for $16.00!! They will keep your dog or cat overnight for $4 more. Great deal.Less for small dogs or dogs who share a kennel. Again...the kennels were BIG.
Tomorrow we head for Page Arizona. No WIFI for a few days...just good old dry camping! Our big highlight will be a tour through Antelope Slot Canyon.
