Get a handle on it!

Yesterday we had a great 3 hour tour of the Antelope Canyon and Navajo Canyon from the water.  Navajo Tapestries adorn the rock canyon walls as thousands of years worth of wind and erosion have created these beautiful markings.  Seeing antelope canyon from the water gave us a whole different perspective of the Antelope area as well. We went in until there was nowhere left to go...then had to back out of theses very narrow and winding  slot canyon waterways. You could touch the walls from the boat!
When we got back to the car and Bill went to open the driver door the handle broke! The hardware of which lies at the bottom of the inside of the door panel rattled all of the way back to the campground as a constant reminder that we will be opening the door from the passenger side from now on.  However, always searching for the silver lining.....now we don't have to worry about locking that door anymore!
Today we take the Dam Tour.  We will get to walk around it and I think INTO it.....I'll let you know.  It's $5 so, I mean, how can we NOT do it!!
Tomorrow we leave for Monument Valley...home of the John Wayne Westerns and more importantly much Navajo history.
BTW, we're Giddy over Gas Prices.  Here in Page it's "only" $3.74 per gallon! Woo-Hoo!!
And Happy Mother's Day to those who qualify!
